Riqui Puig has seemingly hinted that he could leave the LA Galaxy in 2024 after liking a post on Twitter detailing a potential exit.
As per LA Galaxy Rumors, the 23-year-old midfielder liked a tweet suggesting that Puig is considering his options at the end of this season, with a return to Europe potentially on the cards.
Whilst no outlet or journalist is yet to come out and say whether or not Puig will leave LA at the end of this season, the Galaxy’s record could hint that an exit is likely for the superstar playmaker.
Greg Vanney’s side have endured one of their worst seasons in recent memory that was made even worse this week after the Galaxy were eliminated from the Leagues Cup thanks to a 92nd-minute goal from the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Indeed, whilst recent interviews and reports seem to suggest that Puig is happy in California, this interaction on social media could hint at something at the end of the MLS season, and Galaxy fans should be braced for the worst.
Puig can be forgiven for wanting an LA Galaxy exit

Puig has spent two seasons at the Galaxy where the midfielder has looked a class above the rest. Yet with the LA franchise set for one of their worst finishes in MLS history, you can forgive the midfielder for wanting to leave.
Whilst there’s no truth in the new rumors that Puig can leave, a return to Europe could be appealing for the midfielder given how much the former FC Barcelona man has developed since moving to MLS in 2022.
And with the Galaxy in need of a rebuild, there could be a reality where Puig leaves in order for Vanney to completely over the squad, even as unappealing as this option sounds.
