Diego Fagundez has seemingly liked a tweet calling Greg Vanney to be fired as LA Galaxy coach just hours after the attacker was traded to the club.
As pointed out on Twitter by Galaxy beat writer Alex Ruiz, the 28-year-old attacker has liked a comment calling for the Los Angeles franchise to appoint a new coach followed by the hashtag #VanneyOut.
The interaction came after Fagundez was officially announced as a new Galaxy player, with the Uruguayan forward being traded to Vanney’s side from Austin FC in what could be a great deal for the Western Conference side.

With Javier Hernandez out injured, the Galaxy are lacking any sort of firepower in the attack, something Fagundez could alleviate based on his impressive goalscoring and assist record in MLS.
However, this stunt from Fagundez on social media just mere hours after the forward has signed for the Galaxy could have some consequences should word get back to Vanney.
Indeed, the Galaxy’s need for an attacker means Fagundez could escape punishment, yet this incident is hardly the best way for the forward to welcome himself at his new team.
Fagundez’s LA Galaxy career could not have started any worse

Fagundez is without question a quality player with an immense amount of MLS experience that will make the former Austin and New England Revolution star a hit for the Galaxy.
However, the forward has not sold himself well to his new coach after liking a tweet calling out Vanney to be fired, even if this is a stance many Galaxy supporters currently agree with.
Without even kicking a ball, Fagundez has got off to a nightmare start in LA, and when the Galaxy return to action later this month, the South American will be under pressure from Vanney to perform.
